How Do I Locate A Large Round Rug For Sale?

I recently was interested in purchasing a round rug for my basement “man’s room” and realized that there are a number of options. I started by going online and searching the local newspapers’ classified sections. There were no actual used large round rugs for sale, but I did locate a number of garage sales that claimed to have furniture and accessories. Since I wasn’t keen on the idea of driving around the city on only the chance that there would be a rug, I went to a used item swap page and did a search on the “for sale” section for round rugs. There were several hits in my area. I read the description and was quite pleased to see that many of them contained pictures as well so I could get an advanced look at the product before even contacting the seller. The one downside to these sites are that they are often so well populated and viewed that I often found that the seller had already located an intended buyer. But at least I could find that out by email and save myself any driving. Almost all sellers that I contacted by email responded to my request for information within a day or two at the most. I next decided to investigate the possibility of finding a new rug since many of the used round rugs that I saw online had small stains or defects. My choice for the search for a new rug was to start with the local online yellow pages and slowly broaden my search. I started by looking for stores within five miles of my home and then increased the radius of my search until I found stores that I had heard of and trusted. Always remember to call the stores before taking the time and effort to actually travel there.
